I believe you will also enjoy Leonard Cohen's:|

"Hey That's No Way To Say Goodbye"
Leonard is Montreal Canada's pride & joy. His album "You Want It Darker" is the #1 seller right now. And no, your Prof did NOT buy 10,000 copies! (hahaha)
I'm glad "Suzanne" is a fave of yours, paw. It's based on a true story. Leonard Cohen wrote this song for Suzanne Verdal, then girlfriend of sculptor Armand Vaillancourt.
The lyrics describe those rituals they enjoyed whenever they got together. She would invite Leonard to her apartment, located near the harbour of Montreal. Suzanne would serve him "Constant Comment" tea:
"And she feeds you tea and oranges
that come all the way from China."
Then the two of them would take long walks along Old Montreal, by the Saint-Lawrence River.
I fell in love with the chorus, the same way Judy Collins did, when Leonard Cohen sang "Suzanne" to her, over the telephone:
"And you want to travel with her,
And you want to travel blind,
And you know she will trust you,
For you've touched her perfect body
With your mind."
Leonard Cohen & Suzanne's relationship was purely platonic,
which might explain why Leonard touched her perfect body...with his mind. (hahaha)
