Hi Everyone. The versions of Light One Candle and El Salvador on this 45 are different recordings than the ones on the album. The 45 was recorded in 1984 and released at concerts during the 25th Anniversary Tour in 1985. The 45 version of Light One Candle is performed at a slower tempo and there is more bass in the mix. They repeat the chorus 2x before the second verse. You can also hear balalaikas accompanying them. Both versions are great, but I prefer the 45 version. The album version tempo is too fast in my opinion. The slower version has a richer sound and a more intense feeling that really captures the moving lyrics.El Salvador is so cool to hear the melding of PP&M with Noel's Bodyworks Band. Again, the 45 version has more bass and adds some synthesizer. It's a great recording. I wish these had been included on the boxed set. Enjoy!! :)PaulK
